GAME 1 vs. Oakland: Win, 4-3
Dylan Holt started the on the mound and pitched 6 innings. The first 5 were scoreless. Adam Rees pitched the 7th inning. We scored first in the bottom of the 3rd and two more in the 5th to go up 3-0. Oakland scored two un-earned runs in the 6th and one more in the 7th to tie the game at 3-3. With two outs in the bottom of the 7th Dylan Holt hit a double down the left field line. Miguel Padilla drove him in with a single down the third base line. We won 4-3.
GAME 1 vs. Washington Manor: Win, 13-3
We then Played Washington Manor for the District Championship. Adam Rees earned the win pitching 6 spectacular innings with 7 strikeouts. Jesse Lewis finished the game on the mound. We scored 5 runs in the 2nd inning and kept the lead throughout the game. With an 8-3 lead, we scored 5 more runs in the top of the 7th to seal the deal. Adam Rees had 3 hits with 5 RBIs. Dylan Holt had 2 hits with two RBIs. Byron Buckley had 3 RBIs, one of them on a triple to the right center filed fence. Fred smith had three hits and Sean Kelly had 2.
