We're
hoping this site becomes your #1 source for all things |
|
Babe Ruth, but for the site to be successful, we'll need a lot of
cooperation and volunteer participation.
In
order to keep the site current and useful, we need game
summaries, plus any other team news of interest to players,
parents and fans. It's too hard to manage random submissions,
so each team needs to designate a website
coordinator (Publicity
Person) to
channel their information through.
If
you'd like to volunteer for that position with your team, first
confirm with your team's manager and then contact Jim @ webmaster@alamedababeruth.com.

Thanks !

We
still have
several openings
on our Board and really need some parents (especially those of
younger players) to step up and join the fun. It's a great way
to get involved in the community, to have a say in how our league
is run, and help our kids enjoy the great
sport of baseball.
Alameda
Sports Exhibit
The 1st Annual Alameda
Sports Exhibit will be held at the Alameda Museum from July 5 -
August 30th. Come visit this free exhibit (donations welcomed)
and learn more about Alameda's sports history. There are a
number of former Babe Ruth players as part of the exhibit, so it
should be a fun and informative event:
