We're hoping this site becomes your #1 source for all things

Babe Ruth, but for the site to be successful, we'll need a lot of cooperation and volunteer participation.

In order to keep the site current and useful, we need game summaries, plus any other team news of interest to players, parents and fans. It's too hard to manage random submissions,  so  each team needs to designate a website  coordinator (Publicity Person) to channel their information through.

If you'd like to volunteer for that position with your team, first confirm with your team's manager and then contact Jim @ webmaster@alamedababeruth.com.
~ Thanks !

REMINDER: Time Limit AL Games

There are time limits in the American League - no new inning after 2 hours and a half unless (1) the losing team has not yet batted 5 times so it's not a regulation game yet or (2) the game is tied.

Submitting Scores & Game Summaries

Submitting scores and submitting game summaries are two separate responsibilities.
SCORES
Scores are required and must be submitted to the webmaster after every game by the winning coach.
GAME SUMMARIES
Game summaries are optional - but strongly encouraged - and are generally submitted by a volunteer parent.

PARENTS:  You're at the games anyway, why not volunteer to be your team's Publicity Person and send in "brief" summaries of your games.  If no one from your team sends in game recaps... you won't see any stories for your team. ...More info

MEDIA COORDINATOR NEEDED…

We encourage ALL parents to volunteer and get involved in our Babe Ruth program. One volunteer assignment that is fun and fairly easy is the League Media Coordinator. All you have to do is receive game summaries from teams via email, and then forward them to the local newspapers each week.        …contact webmaster for details

Rain / Field Conditions

After a rain, always call the ARPD Field Hotline to find out whether fields are playable or closed:

747- 7540

NEVER go onto fields that have been closed by ARPD.  Thanks.

Board Members Needed...

We still have several openings on our Board and really need some parents (especially those of younger players) to step up and join the fun.  It's a great way to get involved in the community, to have a say in how our league is run, and help our kids enjoy the great sport of baseball.
